Shaped interaction patterns, visual language, and workflows for a data-dense environment used daily by institutional clients and traders worldwide. One of the most complex design challenges of my career: dense financial data that must be instantly readable under time pressure.

UBS Delta
Risk Analytics
Designed the UX framework and visual system for UBS Delta — a comprehensive portfolio analysis and risk management platform for institutional clients. Translated dense financial data — across fixed income, equities, commodities, and FX — into clear, decision-ready interfaces for portfolio managers and analysts. The product was later acquired by StatPro for €13.05M, with approximately £14.5M in annualised recurring revenue at the time of acquisition.

Led two parallel workstreams. First: full legacy-to-responsive redesign of the global UBS Asset Management platform, serving institutional clients across 50+ countries. Worked directly with directors on visual language and information hierarchy. Second: owned end-to-end UX for an internal AI assistant — defining conversation flows, task automation, and the complete interaction design from scratch. This was one of the earliest conversational AI experiences in tier-1 banking, created without established patterns to follow.

On designing AI without a playbook
At the time this AI assistant was designed, almost no financial institutions had attempted conversational UI at this level. There was no UX pattern library to reference, no established best practice for compliance in conversational AI in banking. The work required building principles from the ground up — for context, this predates the current generation of large language model assistants by several years.
